Baby Joy is 7 months old (tomorrow)!

Joy continues to grow and change every day. She loves to watch her brother and sister with complete adoration. Sometimes Jane will give her a big bear hug that's a wee bit too rough and I'll start to intervene, then I'll hear a big barrell laugh coming from Joy. She just loves being a part of whatever Will and Jane are doing.
This month, Joy started to sit up on her own for short periods of time. She can also feed herself finger foods (still no teeth). Some nights she is sleeping for 8-9 hour stretches but still likes to wake up by 6 am most mornings.

The Garden is in

Between rain showers yesterday, Jane helped me plant some of the seeds/starter plants in our garden. We'll see if anything grows!

Monday Morning Fun

This morning, my Dad took Will to a fun activity at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery for preschoolers. While they were off having fun at their class, the girls and I went to the Issaquah Community Center for Jane's ballet class and toddler time. It won't be long before Joy can join her sister!

Running around outside

We were having a brief break in our bad weather so it felt good to release the children and let them run around outside this morning:

Will Drumming

My parents picked up a drum machine at a garage sale last weekend and Will had SO much fun playing with it yesterday. I remember doing piano "concerts" for my grand parents as a kid, so I especially love that Will got to do a "concert" for them too. Also, notice that Will's dinosaur book is watching the concert as well. This was no coincidence :-)

Jane's second ballet recital:

Jane lost the stage fright this time and was ready to be front and center for this recital :-)

My Grandparents are in town from MN and we've been having a great time hanging out with them:
