Lil' Kickers

Jane has a love/hate relationship with soccer. This summer, Will is joining her, and both kids had a great time on their first day. Hopefully this keeps up and they will keep having fun. Otherwise, we may just stick with dance classes for Jane come this fall, as she continues to love every minute of her time there.

Will's Kindergarten Promotion

Pebble Beach

John and I got to take a short trip down to Pebble Beach as a thank you/incentive trip from one of his manufacturers. John got to play the beautiful and amazingly difficult golf course and I enjoyed an entire day at the spa. I felt so spoiled and enjoyed every minute. We also were able to squeeze in some time with John's extended family which was great. I wish we could see them more, we always love our time with them.

Jane's 4th Birthday

We had some friends, family, and neighbors over to celebrate Jane's 4th Birthday last weekend. Here is a snippet from Jane's Birthday interview: Favorite Color: "Pink" What's the last thing you were sad about?: "I don't know" What makes you really happy: "Getting new presents and that I love Mommy" Are you scared of anything?: "Darkness and bad guys" If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be?: "A little small doggie so I could always say, 'Good Boy'" What do you think you'd like to be when you grow up?: "A Mommy and a police officer and a dance teacher and I forget what else" Do you like your name?: "Yeah, I like my name Jane"

Some sweet pictures

Bus Driver Cyndi

Will has the kindest bus driver that brings him home every day. She always lets me know how Will did on the bus, what they talked about, and is always asking questions about us and our life. She dubbed Friday "Fun Friday" and has a kids music mix cd that she plays and then gives each kid a treat (beanie baby, key chain, etc). As an end of the year treat, she made each kid a copy of the music they listened to on Fun Fridays. So sweet. We have loved her and the way she brightened Will's day on his way home from school.

Good bye, Noah's Ark (sniff sniff)

Today was Jane's last day of preschool. I let Will skip school (boy was he pumped about that) and come with me to watch Chapel and have a little class party. This year has been such a great "first school experience" for Jane. It was only once/week, but it still made a big impact on Jane's week and perception of school.
