Someday I hope my kids can also believe what I believe as I reflect on some of the amazing things that Christ accomplished on the cross (our pastor spoke so well on these a few weeks back--see CBC link if you would like to listen. Or you can talk to me if you want to hear more about why I believe what I do):
Forgiveness of sin...the veil of separation between God and man in the Holy of Holies has been torn down...the Law of Moses is no longer a tool of condemnation to me...A place in heaven is being prepared for us...through the cross we receive the peace of God in all outer circumstances...sin's power over me has been broken...demonstrates what God's love is all about...
